FAQ

Here are answers to most frequently asked questions

Why did you create the SnapRake?

After seeing my pregnant friend struggling to reach the chips while she was dealing, I went on a mission to create the ultimate poker dealing tool after realizing that there just wasn't anything good out there. I now use it myself along with many other poker dealers.

Why use a rake?

The rake can be used by either right or left handers, makes dealing more fun and is much easier and faster to use than reaching, especially when the outside seats are involved in a hand. You can use the rake to easily push and pull chips and the rake has side gripper edges that can be used by rotating the rake 90 degrees. It allows the dealer to move chips, cards, cash, reward cards, dealer button, etc. from anywhere on the table.

What is the best way to carry it?

You can slip it though a loose belt, your apron, or a waist bag and easily walk or even sit with it!

How long does it take to learn how to use it?

The rake is intuitive and doesn't take long at all. I will be posting a quick tutorial on how I use it that will help everyone. Pulling stacks of chips needs to be done slowly and carefully to eliminate a mistake while always keeping the rake flat on the table. With a little practice you will get better and faster and will not want to deal without it!

How heavy and strong is it and how long will it last?

The rake is super light, strong and can be used by everyone. It must not be left inside a super hot car in the summer as stated in the disclaimer. It also must be handled with care as it will break under extreme stress especially around the rod insertion and screw area. It must not be bent or stressed aggressively.
